The Royal Master Suede was introduced in the 70's as PRO-Ked's basketball style. Worn by legends such as Pistol Pete Maravich, Jo Jo White and Nate Tiny Archibald. The durable suede upper and two stripe styling made it the choice of basketball players. It was also very popular on the streets of NYC's break dancing culture.
