Our owner grew up during the athletic footwear revolution that began in the 1960’s and has operated athletic footwear stores in NC & SC since 1982. He saw an opportunity to use the web to share his love of classic sneakers. ClassicSportShoes.com went online in 1997 with an inventory of 200 pr of Converse Chuck Taylor’s. Now we stock over 10,000 pr of retro & fashion sneakers and have been written up in numerous newspaper & magazine articles, and have been interviewed on NPR (public radio). We’ve supplied retro footwear for magazine photo shoots, TV shows, and movies.

Our goal is to have the best selection of classic athletic footwear available, a website that is easy to navigate & provides our visitors with all the information necessary to make an informed purchase decision, great customer service, and fast shipping.

UPS 3Day Select - $15 for 1 item. Add $5 for each additional item
UPS 2nd Day Air - $22 for 1 item. Add $8 for each additional item
UPS Next Day Air - $42 for 1 item. Add $12 for each additional item

Orders will be shipped via USPS Mail at a rate of $12.00 for shipments under 10 pounds. Shipments over 10 pounds will be charged actual cost

CHARGE CARD INFO:

Date Billed--Your card will not be charged until the day your order is shipped. Your statement will show a charge from SageSport, our parent company.

Authorization Notice--Your billing address must be listed on order form as the address you receive your credit card statement in order for credit card authorization. The billing name must also be exactly as written on your card.

Security--Our site is hosted by Yahoo Store who employs the latest security encription to insure your credit card information is safe. We are also tested daily and have the "Hacker Safe" certification.

PayPal is integrated into our shopping cart. You will click the PayPal button to select your payment method, then you will be directed back to our site to submit your order.

MAIL ORDER FORM:

To make a purchase using a Money Order, print out the mail order form and mail the form along with payment to the address listed on the form. (you will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. You can get it here if you don't already have it.)

SALES TAX:

We have retail stores in North Carolina and South Carolina and must charge sales tax on shipments made to these two states. No sales tax will be charged for shipments to other states.

RETURNS:

Returns for Credit to your card--Any returns for credit must be made within 365 days and the merchandise must be returned in "brand new" condition in the original box. . No worn merchandise may be returned for credit. If the shoe box is used as the return shipping box, you will be charged $5.00 reboxing fee. Please understand that all goods returned must be in brand new condition in the original packing, ready to sell again as brand new merchandise. You may return the merchandise using any method you choose. You are responsible for return shipping charges, unless we made a shipment error. We will not charge you for exchanged shoes.
